hey, i was just wondering what is the latest news on further improvements for sfos to v3.0 and ahead from jolla. Are there any scheduled campaigns/ conferences they have set or have in sight for this purpose?

Small improvements come every -few- months. I wouldn't expect a major rehaul that was the reason 1.x became 2.x. There are still quite a few stuff to be fixed.
improvements most of the times. but sometimes, they just seem like getting closer to android. UI of 1.0 was the best thing. Hope it returns with 3.0 :(

All of that has disappeared and Jolla have said officially in the changelogs that these features are to return in a later release (maybe 2.1, maybe 3.0)

I don't klnow if the question makes so much sense. Any release can be named "3.0". If an upcoming version is 2.0.4 or 3.0 ist just a marketing decision, nothing else. So if we don't know what a "Sailfish 3.0" is supposed to be, it's hard to say when they'll release it.

Something big like a UI 'rehaul' or maybe addition of whatsapp, facebook, etc. officially. But yea, you are right, it is definitely dependent on marketing :)
