[Info] screen guard for Aqua Fish

Today I went looking for a screen guard for my phone with the knowledge that I will surely not find anything tailor-made for it. So I asked the shop-keeper to pull out all the screen guards he had (he maybe had ~ 10 kinds), and the one that fit very well was one made for the MI 3.

The edges are curved, but that falls outside the touchable screen area, so that is fine.
There is no gap for the front-cam or the ambient light sensor, but if you buy a clear screen guard, you'll be okay (I have a tempered glass one). i.e., don't buy ones with a matte finish. The ambient light sensor works (checked if it dims during a call) and the front-cam seems normal too.
I felt no drop in touch sensitivity.

EDIT: Read the comments below. Bhavin says that it is that of an MI4i that fit his phone. There is a chance I am wrong. Do check before you buy. And if possible, report here. If a good enough majority says so, I will change the post.

Also, do post other compatible screen guards and their extent of compatibility as answers.

The ambient light sensor works (checked if it dims during a call) funny. ALS is for diming display brightness automatically Proximity sensor is for blanking screen during call and etc.

@coderus , okay, sorry. Then both of them work. The brightness does adjust as before to ambient light.

Because there are screen protectors made for Jolla/Aquafish since long. Who would want anything less then that?

@eson I live in India, and I have searched, and all I found is what I put in this post. A search for "aqua fish screen guard" in the three major Indian online retail websites (Amazon, Snapdeal, Flipkart) returns nothing specific. I am reopening the topic. And I suppose I will edit out 'Jolla C' from the title.

Perhaps to use slightly different wording in your search. Most call them 'screen protectors' not 'screen guards' although both mean the same thing, but to my mind, 'protector' is the more commonly used term for such an item.

@Markkyboy I've always called them screen guards, and heard them called so. Maybe it is an Indian thing. Also, I did add relevant tags which use those words, so I think it will show up in a search even if the word 'protector' is used.
