I would like the lock screen to display my name, maybe affiliation, and also an alternate means of contact, so that if I loose it or if I ever am in an accident, a good Samaritan has all the info they need.
For this purpose, and just otherwise too, Is it possible to add custom text to the lock screen?

Hi, an Integration in Sailfish would be grat. The Openrepro App doesn't work anymore. To call a defined person without unlocking the phone. Or even a massage with gps and current snapshot of the cam in case some one get attacked.

You have already been suggested to check out the ICE app from Virgi, but you don't like patches and even Hoschi's suggestion is quite wild, but a fair idea nonetheless.
So, what are you expecting?, an application?, who from?, Jolla?

@kat6: Using Patchmanager on Jolla/Meego is quite normal, I suggest you use Warehouse and install patchmanager, patch anager-app or settings-ui and the ICE.
Just do one thing - disable all patches during upgrades of the OS.
