Hi, I have a problem with the update I press the "Start optimising Button", but the last step it's canceling and resets it himself.

Yes I have read: https://together.jolla.com/question/145708/update-to-20251-optimisation-step-fails/

And: https://together.jolla.com/question/144491/aurajoki-update-doesnt-start/?answer=144505#post-id-144505

But after "btrfs-balancer balance", it goes only up to 75% and says, "Failed. Please free up more space and try again."

So did you try to free up more space?

the question is, how can I free more space? I don't know the command, because I think it means the Ram.

Well, by deleting some large files. If you are unable to delete files, you'll need first to overwrite their data with the command echo > /path/to/yourfile. After that you should be able to delete them.

@1vxy: I means to free space from the internal Jolla storage, you usually don't need any terminal commands.

I'm using a SD-card where I have most of my photos, videos, music & use "File Browser" app to move those files to SD-card. I also recommend to move your phone backup to an SD card and delete it from internal storage.

Try to make more space on your phone internal storage and then try again and let us know if it works.

Hi, I have now ~4GB space at the internal storage. Now the update need longer, but still canceling themself. And the "btrfs-balancer allocation" go only to 50%

Any others ideas ?
