As a user, I'd like to disable audible notifications while phone is unlocked (with display on) and I'm listening to music with headphones on. Currently this can be achieved by manually turning the phone to "silence sounds"-mode, but you'd have to remember manually turning sounds back on again, when you pocket the phone, which is very easy to forget.

A generalization for this feature-request would be to enable disabling audible notifications when ever the phone is unlocked and display is turned on. That should be a clear indication that the phone is being used and the user should be able to see the notification "popups".

I don't think this is a bug, but intentional. Perhaps change into a feature request for an option to turn this on or off?

With the BH905 in bluetooth, SMS notification is made with the jolla speaker, no pause in the headphone.

@Vaskinn you might be right.. I was mistaken by the ambience volume profile. I silenced my sounds by changing profile, but that still "plays" the notification sound, even though it's not audible anymore. Using the actual "silence sounds" from pulley menu fixes this issue. And it's seems to be a necessity because of this: https://together.jolla.com/question/1817/app-volume-level-for-notification-sounds/

Reconstructed the bug report as feature request, as @Vaskinn suggested.
