Hi there,

this seems to be related to this and this but it's not the same.

Since I upgraded my jolla phone to 2.0.2.51 I experience a multiplication of calendars. I sync calendars with my horde calendars and that worked fine until the upgrade. It looks like that every reboot of the phone creates a new calendar. Syncing only works partially since it is hard to say which calendar will be synced.

Events that I create on a different device suddenly appear with the wrong times set. My time zone is CEST/CET. Events created on my laptop appear on the jolla phone's calendar an hour later than intented.

Any suggestions? Bugfix in the pipeline?

Cheers!

there is another thread about the time-shift-aspect of your problem: https://together.jolla.com/question/60486/all-dates-shifted-by-one-hour-in-calendar-after-updating-to-11038/

"Unfortunately" you can read, a bugfix was released with firmware version 1.1.9.28

But maybe you can find helpful information in this thread :-)

Btw. i got the same duplicate-problem a few weeks ago. In my case re-adding the caldav account fixed the case until today. (Firmware Version 2.0.2.51; CalDAV-Server: Nextcloud 10 should be same as Owncloud 9.1)

Best regards, MrHundert

I can confirm the duplication of calendars in 2.0.5.51 but not the time shift (had that in the past but not any more). Calendar duplication appears to self-heal when I disconnect from WLAN and instead use 3G for sync. This is not visible immediately but may take a few hours. The duplicates disappear as misteriously as they appeared. Given the amount of errors in the calendar app Jolla needs to invest some serious work into it.

Hi, thanks for your report. If you can get detailed logs as per https://sailfishos.org/wiki/CalDAV_and_CardDAV_Community_Contributions#Sync_Logs that would be helpful in tracking down what is causing the calendar duplication.
