How-To: While on a call I had a incoming call alert, upon searching in the call log, I could not recognize to which sim the call was missed. How to identify incoming calls in call log to which sim it was made to ?

Feature-Request: In Phone call log on a long press of listed number highlights

Generally its like this:

A) TO VIEW
1)the Number 2)Duration of the call

B)OPTIONS
       1) To send message 2) Save as contact(if unknown contact) or Open Contact Card (if Saved contact) 3)Copy 4) Delete

What can be added or the change needed:

A) TO VIEW
1)the Number 2)Duration of the call 3) INCLUDE HERE SIM 1 / SIM 2 (Received or Dialed from )

B)OPTIONS
       1) To send message 2) Save as contact(if unknown contact) or Open Contact Card (if Saved contact) 3)Copy 4) Delete

The feature needed is to show to which sim it was incoming for. as SIM 1 / SIM 2 upon Long Press of the number in the list, to view.

Edit

Found a workaround . If you happen to use Patchmanager there is a patch available now by 'lightX2' "Show sim on callog". Since I now use only one sim, still it shows up in Jolla callog.

@cemoi71 before posting this how-to I have read most of the posts or questions similar to this and I have found none which is as simple to know and/or understand, to exactly what problem I face, similar or duplicate.

It is not the color of the arrow or the direction of the arrow, the real confusion is or that bothers me right now, but when I miss, any incoming call from any contact known or unknown, saved or not saved in people and I do not know to which SIM it was incoming to, or there is any way to find which Sim it is from, example Sim1/Sim2, OR, Operator1/operator2..

I thought if we could see from which sim card it comes with a specific drawing of the card, it could help....
do you mean that you want much more details, after doing a specific action on the call?

When I miss a call, all I want to understand is to which SIM was it missed or to which SIM the call was attempted.

That would be a great feature and should not be difficult to add it. On other mobile OS it's integrated since Multi-SIm is possible.

It's a shame that users still have to use workarounds to solve such basic problems.

Does Android display which SIM is calling on a dual-SIM phone? Just curious. Ideally I'd like the caller and SIM to be visible before accepting the call.

Looks like this patch is no longer available: https://openrepos.net/user/4370/programshttps://openrepos.net/search/node/show%20sim%20calllog
