There is possibility to connect with facebook, twitter and many other but not with the Microsoft accounts. I wonder why because it would be so easy to sync my calendar, email and contacts from old my old Lumia.

I have linked my hotmail.nl account via Mail for Exchange. My (multiple) calendars and e-mail sync just fine. Contacts did not sync.

On my device the sync with Microsoft works very fine:

Add an Exchange-Account. Enter your MS-Email (f.e. "john.smith@outlook.de") and the server "dub-m.hotmail.com". Leave domain blank.

In my case it syncs contacts, calendar entries, tasks and email very well. I've synced a Lumia 925 and a jolla this way.

Downloading calendar entries does work but I cannot create new entries with my Jolla.

Hi,

contacts created or changed with Jolla are not synchronised to the server, can you please check on your side @Shakatus ? I use the Microsoft Exchange App (is it atually supporting EAS?) with an hotmail.com address.

The connection itself works fine but the auto sync does not happen every 15 minutes as set in the settings. Have you the same issue ? Basically, it seems to sync randomly but after more than 2 hours sometimes...

Selection each calendar to sync event too is coming, should solve calendar issues you are having, same for contacts(coming a bit later).

@Dam - If you are using mail for Exchange you should set your sync schedule in the account itself, the settings under "settings->mail" are only for POP3/IMAP accounts, there's currently some issues related to sync not working properly when device goes to sleep, see: https://together.jolla.com/question/8516/bug-email-app-sometimes-doesnt-sync-at-specified-intervals/

Accepting this answer and closing since all other reported issues have already other entries here.
