This I have also seen. Especially if a video is longer than 1 Minute, while trying to save it usually crashes the cam. The video then is also lost.

don't think i ever lost any video but anyway should be solved since latest release behaved correctly...

Cannot confirm. I shot a 10 minute video and it saved without a hitch. (SFOS 2.0.4.13 Jolla1)

If it were me, I'd have a go at removing the application and installing it again.

@247 - Are your images/recording being saved to /home/nemo/* or sdcard?

I have also just tested shooting and saving a 5 minute video directly to sdcard without any problems.

I cannot even open the camera app on J1. I just get the dialog to close or wait over and over again. May this be related to moving all pictures to ext4 formatted SD card and setting camera to store on SD card? The weird part: Taking pictures in Android apps is working, so it's not an hardware issue.

In many cases, problems with jolla-camera and other jolla apps, are often resolved by removing and installing the application again. Of course, these apps cannot be removed directly from the launcher, so the job is done in terminal. pkcon remove jolla-camera <---this also removes jolla-camera-settings, so when you try to reinstall jolla-camera it requires jolla-camera-settings to be installed first, then the jolla-camera app will install automagically.

thx for your answers...anyway i reseted my jolla since i wanted to free up some clutter...when i will be back to fiskarsinjoki in a couple days i will report if it's working or not...sure anyway it's latest ea related thing because on taalojarvi i was having exactly the same exact free space (6 gb and it was working like a charm) oh and by the way no, media is set to save in internal memory :)

I also occured this on 2.0.4.14 Fiskarsinjoki. When I tried to open the camera app, it crashed everytime. I'm not sure about videoproblems etc. Reboot seemed to do the trick in my case.
