When Using Sailfish Browser

Has anybody experienced the graphics artifacts when using sailfish browser?
Update August 3rd 2017: on Website loading i notice that screen now largely remains "white" blank until loading has completed of most of the websites i try using SFOS 2.1.0.11 with Intex Aquafish. Blank Image during MacRumors Website Load Example What it should be doing is display partial graphics rendering, and at minimum load all the text, though i prefer the load graphics and display with right scaling at low resolution until full image data can be loaded, basically it would use the website and identify html size tags or style tags for size and prescale and preload.

FYI: I am using Sailfish 2.0.3.14 and see the artifact occur sporadically ever since using the phone, Aurora browser does not appear to have the same artifacts or issues. Turing Phone: Screen 1080 x 1920 5.5 inch diagonal

@DarkTuring - I took the liberty of resizing your screenshot to prevent it from swamping the screen (reduced by 50%).

Seeing it all the time since 2.0.4.X Also, YouTube started acting weird. Getting network drop errors and incorrect mime types even though everything is fine. Restarting the browser solves it.

Please post images of when your phone screen displayed graphics is acting up and what app you were using and what actions you were performing at the time, the website link idially.

@Dark Turing - I edit images with Photoshop. I rarely access TJC on the device, it's too fiddly for me.

Images can be reduced on the device, using Imagemagick, but again, way too fiddly for my liking, so Photoshop it is!

Performance has gone real worse with specific websites plus the issues mentioned here. I opened an issue for the sailfish-browser repository so that devs and interested sailors can follow it there.

I have those glitches already mentioned on Jolla C. And sometines the page just stays blank. You can scroll it because you can see address bar hiding when you scroll up.

And if you click the address bar the website might be visible through the little slot over favourites. When you close the favourites overlay the page goes blank again.

Having the same graphics issue, only happens when I try to watch a YouTube video through the browser.

@tortoisedoc Not a reason to post that like it was an answer. Please convert it to a comment.

Same here. Do you guys have dyncal and imagemagic installed?

saleki ( 2016-12-21 08:30:44 +0300 )edit

@saleki no, noting special installed except what comes from J Store.

magullo ( 2016-12-21 14:00:27 +0300 )edit

No, same problems even on virgin Jolla C with standard applications. Somehow Gecko is broken and needs to be fixed.

Sometimes after opening the browser and accessing a tab that was on standby you get the following before the tab had a chance to reload.

image cache fault
