[request] expand the function of sailserver

Hello all,

as we could see that so many user have problem to copy or move an amount of file from their phone into their platform.
Mtp may not be so easy on mac and linux.
sftp too if we should activate the devel-mode. That is not any more a full easy user experience like one, but more a devel one or geek.

Regarding that the community still look after a desktop tool between their phone and their desktop.
A cool alternative would be a cross-platforme one, like a webserver app.
One alternative is the airdroid app from android (through aptoide). But is an android app...

Or a native one Sailserver, a "tiny webserver" described from his dev.
But it seems to be not maintain anymore, and his dev mentioned that he don't see the point to reinvent the wheel if other services as sftp or other make it easy for mass exchange.

I don't share this point of view because user side, there is nothing more easy for having access to his phone with few click, and react with it through his webbrowser.

Furthermore, like airdroid, it could bring some function like file management (already noticed) send sms, mails, music player, picture-player, and so on... maybe contact-viewer/manager, for calendar.

I'm strongly interested to have this tool with expanded functions. And i'm sure that other have this interest too.
And i could represent me to donate a € contribution for it. And help by giving feedback for any inconvenience.

That could be the greatest sfos user experience. That would be great if the dev or someone else make this tiny tool further growing, to a big one.

Or make a fork..?
