Hello!

My program is scanning all *.desktop files in system, and I've noticed that some of them son't have structure like

...
Name=some-name
Name[de]=some-translated-name
...

but have the field X-MeeGo-Translation-Catalog.

Where can I find this catalog and how can I read all translations in my program?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Osanwe - to my knowledge, the x-meego-translation-catalog is the same thing as the general 'translation-catalog' found in /usr/share/translations

The way I do it is like this; after installing Virtaal on your computer, export the entire 'translation-catalog' to your PC and then use Virtaal to read the catalogs by clicking on a catalog file you want to read. You can download Virtaal from here; http://virtaal.translatehouse.org/
