Since today, I have a sound problem with my Jolla 1. I was listening a mp3 file, then I ansewerd a phone call, and suddenly I couldn't hear any sound at all. The volume was automaticly turned off, but even if I increase the volume, there was still no sound. Fisrt time, I rebooted the device and it crashed during several minutes with the red LED. I removed the battery, turned on the device, and the sound was back during some minutes, and then there was again no sound, even if I increase the volume with the side button. i tried several times to reboot and to turn off completly the device, but the problem is still here. Changing the ambiance doesn't change anything. On the device, I have the last software update.

I just tested with the earphones and the sound is ok. It is with the speakers that there is no sound at all.

I can relate to your issue, my Jolla 1 speakers acted out just days ago even missed calls due to that, took few reboots to actually figure it out The connectors on the speakers are having trouble connecting to the phone's panel. Gently hitting the base of the device brings the speakers sound back. Well cleaning those connectors is the best fix. Being so proud of my device's integrity , I choose to not have it opened except I have no other option . Just gently hit the base of the device to help the connectors move into place. Hope this solves it for you

Thanks for the answer. I think the problem is a software problem because yesterday, I had also a problem with the email application which crahed several times when I wanted to check the new messages. After a new reboot, everything was running smoothly again, even for the sound. I hope that this was a temporary problem. I will aslo check the connectors as you did to prevent another problem.
