intex aqua fish microphone issue [answered]

My brand new Intex Aqua Fish has the following microphone issue: when calling from the device, the other party doesn't receive sound. This appears when keeping the phone to my ear and speaking and when connecting headset as well. It does not appear however in speakerphone-mode. Then everybody hears everything fine. Switching back to normal mode, the issue reappears.
I have run the CSD Tool (Entered *#*#310#*#*according to https://together.jolla.com/question/56805/no-sound-from-notifications/?answer=56815#post-id-56815) and it did find an error with the headset (not recording sound), but the other microphones on the device passed the tests. So it seems like a software error, at least on the device itself.
Any ideas how to reset micrphone or check software dependecies/perform other tests?
The same thread you linked to also points out that this could very likely be a hardware issue and to give the phone to the sevice center. Are you in India?

The problem desribed there seems different from mine. I found however another post, where they describe something very similar, but the suggested solution (by reinstalling "voicecall-ui-jolla" package: pkcon install voicecall-ui-jolla) doesn't help me.
