- GPS doesn't work. GPS Info app doesn't see any satellites [solved]
- Battery is drained in less than a day.
Any ideas?

OK. I said I'll wait & see, and that's what I've seen so far:
Whenever I reset the device, the displayed percentage jumps about 10% up or down.
Hungermeter app is reporting about 50% lower power consumption, current (500mW & something instead of 1000mW & something), as well as 24 average (16mw instead of 20 & something).
After the last recharging, the battery dropped relatively quickly from 100% to ~66%. After reset it dropped further to ~55%. Then, about 8 hour ago, it dropped further to 45.99%. It's still there. After the last reset, the Hungermeter said the battery will be drained in a couple of hours. Now it says it will be drained in 8 days & something.
The conclusion so far: Looks like the newest update actually improved the power consumption, but the battery percentage display is screwed. Maybe something was deleted during the update, some statistics, I don't know. After the previous update, the battery percentage display needed a couple of days to stabilize, but it hadn't jumped up and down so wildly.
I won't recharge my phone tonight. I don't want the battery overcharged because of software error.
UPDATE: I've just made a reset. Now it displays 51% (Sailfish) and 50.99% (Hungermeter).
UPDATE1: Now it's again at 46%. At least a little bit consistent. To rechage or not to recharge that is the question.
UPDATE2: Haven't recharged. Battery stayed at 46% for a while, now, after 10 hours, it's 37%. Hungermeter reading: 24h average 95mW, Time left till empty: 1 day(s) and 3 hours. So: Consumption looks normal, but battery percentage display seems to have a free will. Will recharge in the evening, and see what happens.
CONCLUSION
Phone went for 2 days without recharging, with mWh-s to spare, which means battery is OK, and power consumption normal. It was, as I've suspected, a false alarm. Battery status indicator & Hungermeter app were displaying false values. They are both stabilized now.
It would be a good idea to retain data about battery between system updates, if possible.

please check the settings>location is on, i found it was reset every reboot the device and it is off by default.
jjorsin ( 2016-11-04 20:04:18 +0300 )editDo you use Cal/Carddav? Maybe delete your accounts and re-connect (caldav/carddav-daemon may go nuts and drain battery)
cy8aer ( 2016-11-04 20:52:11 +0300 )editit can take quite a while, till you get the gps fix. you should first turn on location, then the corresponding app. especially important with android apps.
pawel ( 2016-11-04 21:56:28 +0300 )edit@jjorsin: It was indeed off. GPS works now. Thanxx! :)
@cy8aer: I've checked with Lighthouse app, and there is no process by the name of caldav or carddav. The biggest CPU hog (besides Lighthouse) is, as usual, lipstick. I don't know, maybe it's just a false alarm. Battery display was acting funny for a couple of days after the previous upgrade also. Maybe I should just wait and see.
azupan ( 2016-11-04 22:03:18 +0300 )edit@azupan you are welcome. the location setting should be saved, just like another settings, rather than reset. i am not sure why, maybe save battery etc. :)
