Hello, (first post here on Jolla Together for me)

I have a Intex Aqua Fish upgraded to release 2.0.4.14

After the upgrade, I am getting the notifications from all the Android applications (Amazon, Apkpure) despite that the only Android applications allowed to run background services and start at bootup (from Settings -> Apps -> ) are Whatsapp and Telegram.

I don't know if this problem started right after the upgrade, or only some days after, since I don't have a lot of android app. For now I only tried to enable the "background services" and disable them again, but without result.

Any help is appreciated. Regards, Marco

When I understand it correctly, the settings in (Settings -> Apps) only allows apps to start upon AlienDalvik start. If you started your Android app manually or its triggered by another event (many apps are triggered e.g. on connection change), then its not handled by this setting.

What you can do is to go to Settings>Android Support>Actions:Stop and Start after a while.

This will shut all apps down and start only those you've selected to start (until you start the other ones again). Yes, it's annoying (but you can add a shortcut to your Events view).

It looks like you both are right. Thank you!

Well, I would not close this issue as it is still an issue ;) Honestly, I would not expect an application running as long as the option 'run background proccess' is unchecked. It's been a while and it is still annoying. Especially when you consider the battery consumption sometimes.
