No data connection original Jolla phone.

I have started using my original Jolla phone again after about a year. I am using a new mobile provider and am unable to get a data connection. I am using Plenti.dk as my mobile provider. They use the local 3 network. My phone is upgraded to SFOS 2.0.5.6. I have tried to go into my mobile network settings and manually select the network manually, but I get locked out by my provider when changing networks and have to reboot the phone before I can again get a connection. The only message that I get when I try to enable mobile data (bredbånd) is "problem with connection".
I assume that I used mobile data before, but am unsure as I have always been careful to access the Internet when I have been able to use WiFi. My new provider does not have an upper cap on extra data usage or charge extra, so it isn't an issue for me now. I would really like to get this to work. Help please.
