No network connection crashes Android Apps.
Without network Android apps that require networking connection do not launch properly or when already launched start crashing. This is even true if the Android app has built in offline mode functionality. It seems Alien Dalvik control doesnt pass network state properly to Android apps using 2.0.5.6 on Turing phone with poor or unavailable network (No Online connection).
You can test the bug by using Pandora 7.8 then launch and disconnect from network (mobile or wifi).
SFOS apps run fine even without network in those same instamces and launch or remain running.
Anybody having the same experiences?
+1 With Jolla 1, all Android app does not start when wifi is not connected, have to restart Dalvik.

NobodyInPerson ( 2016-12-28 01:37:40 +0200 )editThis looks as a duplicate of: https://together.jolla.com/question/51695/bug-android-apps-connection-problems-with-wlan/ There are some solutions given there, I investigated the sqlite-solution, which did not work for me, the complete Dalvik reinstallation is a bit too crude according to my taste.
