Hi everybody,

as described in other threads Jolla begins to hang when it tries to connect to a network (3G/WLAN) and connection cannot be established. As it tries again and again and again.

I would like to set a number how often such a retry is done. Connection should be disabled after the retries. Settings should be:

  • Forever
  • 5 times
  • 3 times
  • 1 time
  • Never

With this a reboot because of UI lagging could be avoided when connection fails.

What do you think?

Never happened on the N9 althought there wasn't such a feature. Maybe it can be solved in an other way?

I think it is also a nice feature to not waste the battery in trying it again and again.

It is a bug that it keeps re-trying more than 3 times. Will be fixed in future update.

Is the DHCPv6 Bug also fixed in next release? I think it only needs a connman update. https://together.jolla.com/question/11757/dhcpv6-rfc3315-support-on-jolla/

Many fixes are in 1.17 and 1.16 for DHCPv6 and we have 1.15. https://connman.net/blogs/patrik/2013/connman-117https://connman.net/blogs/patrik/2013/connman-116
