All the android apps crash whenever mobile data connection in LTE mode crashes automatically. I think it is normal for the network connection to disconnect and connect again automatically. but once in 15 times the android apps also crash along with it ! it is so frustrating ! my Intex Aqua Fish is running on the 2.1.0.11 update. the thing is the android apps never crash while using wifi or in 2g or 3g ,but with LTE. please solve it with the next 1 or 2 updates. i left open Android Support (Settings) and i went there immediately after the crash and found that alien dalvik has stopped and just in 2 secs, it again started automatically. i use Jio 4G in sim slot 1.

It will help those that will debug to specify which apps in particular. Also helps if you can get some error logs from console so people have something to work with and can try to reproduce it.

No no no. There is no particular app that crashes. It is all the android apps only that crash all at once. native apps never crash whatsoever. and a notification flashes after 2-3 secs of crash and that is - Connected. that's it. honestly.

@Rajuaa00 I understand, but what I am asking is be as specific as you can because there could be many reasons for them all to crash and the more details the easier it is for people to debug and or reproduce.

This happens often to me while driving. I use Waze to navigate. Sometimes Alien Dalvik crashes and data connection is lost. I don't know if either of these things causes the other, or if there is another factor causing them both.

having the same issue with current 2.0.5.6 and previous SFOS versions, the crashing on mobile data disconnect can bring down Alien Dalvik but i have also had instances where it brought down open SFOS apps.

I think some of it has to do with bad app development, maybe some has to do with the software dev toolkit not including functions to handle data disconnect and reconnect handoffs easily enough, and ultimately Alien-Dalvik isnt designed by Jolla and i think while the Android Support is generally fantastic, the integration when it comes to network status isnt well developed.

while using 4g , Data connection refreshes several times. also along with this sometimes android apps the app crashes Or I should say it restarts (Because Hidden Navigation Bar back button reappears)

So i run about 2-3 android apps specificaly libre signal, telegram and my bank app. I have never experienced, this but what might be the thing to look at is 4G specifically. I am in the US so 4G is not an option for me given the radios on the device. However i do have 3G and 2G and in neither case do i see the same disconnect occurring. This might be helpful feedback.

Yes @marxistvegan , i also think so. I'll check again. If i find 4g is the problem, i'll ask another question.

Jolla please either solve it or tell me how to bear it. I'm frustrated already.

@Rajuaa00 A fix would be in a new release is my guess, the temporary fix would be to use 3G instead of 4G since you confirmed that the issue is 4G specific.
