Updates for the Intex AquaFish

I know that this topic already exists, but this is a slightly different question.

1) How long after updates are released will AquaFish get them? Why are the delays so long?

2) Can we have full disclosure on what and where the modifications/additions by Intex are?

1) When it's ready. It depends on Intex. Ask Intex about delays.

2) Don't think so. I've never saw changelog of this modifications.

1) Most Indian companies haven't heard the words 'customer' and 'service' used adjacent to each other. 2) Okay, I hope someone from Jolla responds. I would like to know what they're adding.

@coderus Yep, I am thinking about doing that; will simplify everything. Just thought I'd give this one chance before converting.

You can just copy Intex ambience and sounds, and probably Gaana app and install it back when you convert Aqua Fish to Jolla C.

1) Because Aqua Fish is not main Intex product, and it's no longer producing, approving Sailfish OS updates for Intex is not in priority. I personally expect in some future Intex would stop doing approving process because of that. 2) Usually all partner modifications included in Sailfish OS update release notes/changelog. Just read carefully.

If Intex stops approving SFOS updates, do you think we'll get the updates faster, or never?

I hope that is not true...

I'm in an email conversation with them right now asking them about the update situation... their customer service doesn't really seem to know anything; initially, they kept giving me nonsensical generic replies asking me to take the phone to the service center. When I persisted, it looks like someone actually read my mails, and just said that if it is a software issue, it isn't their problem.

This is verbatim what they keep saying in their emails to me: "We would like to inform you that as you are saying that the updates are coming so late so it depends upon the software designed, it is not from our end." Can someone from Jolla please take a look? Will me switching with @coderus 's script be detrimental to the Jolla-Intex deal?
