The title says it all. Is it possible to add Sailfish like gestures to an android phone? If I buy one is it possible? I know about jolla launcher but that project seems abandoned.
Any hints?

Yes and no. Such modifications are possible with Xposed framework modules. See for example this one: http://repo.xposed.info/module/ind.fem.black.rayyan.xposed.gesturenavigation But you probably will be disappointed with the results when you're used to SailfishOS. Xposed modules won't turn Android into something "new" + they might be buggy and not compatible with your Android version / device.
