Hi, I'm organizing my app shortcuts mostly in directories. With a lot of apps I'm often have to check multiple folders to determine where the app is placed. Of course, it's a personal organization thing, but I think it would be cool and useful that we were able to call a pully menu at end bottom of the launcher where a search resides. Typing one or two letters and mathing apps are schown up. Also if you have many many apps installed I think. If you don't organize apps in folders, have many installed, a scroll to bottom sidebar (like in messaging app and elsewhere) would be helpful also. So you can reach the bottom fast.

Community, what you're thinkings about this feature? Would you say it's helpful?

A closed thread exists: https://together.jolla.com/question/6560/add-ability-to-search-apps-in-launcher/ But the answer is refering to an app, I tried it one or two times but would like to see the search as an integrated jolla feature

i don't like an app for apps search approach. one nice thing in sailfish is that a.lot is system integrated. to reach the boot fast the sidescrollbar would make sense. I would prefer integrated search over

it is okay if you get an app for your needs. you can place it in the top apps row and use it quicker than swiping all the way to bottom and then get a search bar. hope it helps..
