I really liked the fast accessible search bar in Nokia N9 and I'm hoping if it might be possible to make search bar accessible in Sailfish browser main screen, on the top part of the screen. It would be much faster way than going to tab menu. The search would give results from a selected search engine.

What I mean is the search bar is connected to search engine like google, bing etc. and it would be operated from the front page. Edit: changed headline to web search

Search bar could also give user some suggestions when typing a few letters.

Search bar should be also easily hideable of course if it is not used. One way to view and hide the bar could be that when the bar is visible you swipe the search bar (holding the finger on top of the search bar) on top of the screen either to the left or right (for previous N9 users, the similar gesture that switched between normal keyboard and "swype" keyboard). Alternatively even better if it could be accessed by pulley menu in browser to hide and show search bar.

There could be also a small button in top part of screen to do the job if the gestures feel annoying.

The searchbar itself would also disappear along with browser icons in bottom when screen is scrolled down and reappear when scrolled up (In case if the bar is currently enabled and not hided).
