Please stop publishing Tajay Studios applications on the Store [answered]

And remove those already on there. All of their applications are worse than crap and they keep publishing under different variations of the name, too. This kind of rubbish adds nothing of value and looking at the Store to see if there's any new applications (who am I kidding, everyone - including Jolla devs - publishes on OpenRepos) only to find there's yet again more of the same 5-minutes-in-development Android crap and nothing else is not particularly nice.

Yes, I agree but there is a simple solution that I myself use; just ignore all applications that have the funny green robot icon in the corner :)

I voted for both, this question and the answer from Jolla. Both are right, the store should offer quality, not quantity. On the other hand, everyone has so start and applications cannot be perfect. In this case, it looks 'app-spam'.

Everyone is allowed to publish their application in our Store. Unfortunately just saying "your application is crap" is not a reason to reject any application out there. Android application needs to be faulty or break the device somehow to be rejected out of the store.

We also need some kind of motive for people to write native apps for SFOS. The situation is quite problematic.

We are working towards that. New APIs and relaxed the rules a bit. That should motivate more for native side. :)

@ApB perhaps native applications should somehow be presented more prominently in store, also, the often mentioned Web frontend for the store would really help,

Not only that, but I think app updates should be rewarded by moving the app to the top of "new applications", perhaps with a little icon that shows it's not completely new. Or even make another "recently updated" view instead ot the weird "activity" (is it called that in english?) page, which is pretty useless IMO.

Sorry for going off topic that far. On Topic: Agreed, "it's crap" is not good enough a reason to reject apps.

A 'show only native apps' option would be nice. I have Android installed, in case I need it, but don't currently need or intend to install any Android apps.

@Nrsisti, I agree everyone should be able to publish their applications. The thing is though that with this kind of pure zero-effort rubbish front and center, the Store is a joke. The only times I open it anymore is when I get a notification that one of my applications has an update available. On the other hand I open Warehouse/OpenRepos almost every day, even though there is absolutely no quality control there and the Warehouse application itself is awful, because at least some interesting things can be found there.
