I replied to an email from the Jolla email client (IMAP account), and everything works except that the email I replied to didn't get marked as replied to (looking in Thunderbird). Neither do forwarded emails get marked as forwarded.

EDIT: As @simonschmeisser comments below, the original e-mail is still not tagged as replied to. The other linked question only brings up the missing "in-reply-to" header in the new reply e-mail (something that has been fixed).

EDIT: Also applies to forwarded emails.

And also mark emails as forwarded to as well :)

reply/forward tags to be stored on server for emails wich were processed in jolla and also showing symbols in jolla for all existing emails. i got confused myself today and replied for secondtime when i was reading emails on pc later

Did I get it right? 2.2.1.18 and messages still get no reply/forward tags?! So my wife is using K9...

Duplicate off https://together.jolla.com/question/596/email-insert-in-reply-to-header/ A very annoying bug.

I'm not an IMAP expert, but is this really a duplicate? My naive understanding is, that two things should happen when I answer to a mail:

  1. add the "in-reply-to" header line to the newly written reply, this indeed works as linked in your bug
  2. add the "replied" tag to the original message so that more capable clients display this

the second part doesn't seem to happen, so I think this should be changed from duplicate to bug?

@simonschmeisser That seems correct. Re-opening.
