Checked the EEPROM with I2C and it is ok.

In the about page of the TOHKBD2 app it says:

Settings UI version: 0.5.23 Daemon version: The name com.kimmoli.tohkbd2 was not provided by any .service User daemon version: Message recipient disconnected from message bus wthout <rest is="" outside="" screen=""> Sailfish version: 2.1.0.9</rest>

This is a bummer, as I heavily rely on the keyboard in my daily usage. Updated the tablet first and as that went well, I trusted to do the phone as well. Probably a bit to risky for a holiday activity, b ut ok. I'll be behind a PC again on Saturday; for now, the tablet is the life saver :)

Hi, I did not update yet, but in the past it always helped to re-install the TOHKBD2 ambience.

ok, will give that a try. After troubles with a previous update, I never bothered to reinstall the ambiance after a factory reset, yet got the keyboard going without a problem. Yet, one never knowes :)

the ambiance won't install. I noticed that before, while still being able to use the keyboard. Trying did not solve the kbd problem yet. I hope there is an easy solution, as doing a factory reset plus updates is such a time consuming process.

Sorry for the delay

tohkbd2 required rebuilding against 2.1.0.9 target. You can manually install up-to-date version directly from this link

http://repo.merproject.org/obs/home:/kimmoli:/tohs/sailfishos_2.1.0.9/armv7hl/harbour-ambience-tohkbd2-0.5.23-78.1.armv7hl.rpm

There are no actual changes.

It will be updateable through harbour after 2.1.0.x goes public.

Thanx Kimmo! Installing the this rpm did the job :)

Had to uninstall (force install may done the job as well) the 'already installed' 0.5.23-78-2 (more recent) rpm first and got a script error on the rpm -Uvh, but the keyboard works again as expected.

Super! Many thanks @kimmoli :-). Still a very keen user of the Tohkbd2..

Thx. How can I download it manually? I can't find it in store and after I did a factory reset (and updated to latest 2.1.0.9) my TOHKBD2 is not recognized anymore. Removing it and reattaching it does not trigger the install as it has been.
