After updating I lost the icon for the browser, and i can't acces the browser by using the "search the web" function in notification. i wan't to know how to reinstall it via terminal or other means.

pkcon install sailfish-browser

This will reinstall the browser. I can't explain though why it got removed during the update process...

Since it seems that the device had some problems while updating it would make sense to execute the command version --dup (to install all missing packages) since there could be also other missing packages.
