Please provide an option to enable/ disable kalmann filter for input events. some users (like me) do not like it/prefer the previous version. edit: or at least smooth off the latency please.

If something doesn't work right, you don't need an option to turn off the problematic feature. Instead, the problem needs to be fixed. Closing as duplicate of known bug https://together.jolla.com/question/156475/2109-swipes-lag-behind-on-jolla-c-aqua-fish/

I beg your pardon; how is this a duplicate? No matter what, the Kalmann filter is a feature, and as such CAN - in fact - be turned off. The other post (which you courtesily linked) refers to the issues of the (new and definitely exciting, albeit still in early stages of it's life) feature. This post, in turn, refers to adding the possibility to turn the feature ON / OFF. It's a separate request in content.

The only reason you want to turn it off, which you already indicated yourself, is because there's a problem in the configuration for some devices. That problem should be fixed, not bypassed.

thats your opinion; this is still a feature (perhaps something more as it seems to be mandatory?)

I agree that feature and bug is not the same and this shouldn't be duplicate post. To me this is the same level of nonsense as when during 1.X version Jolla added those stupid animations that only slowed everything down and made Sailfish feel very sluggish. Adding "fancy and useless" staff instead of working on/fixing important defects isn't way to go Jolla!

@nthn btw i did not refer to the bug in my original post (except by pointing out the link to the other thread about it).Youll have eventually to start realizing that feedback hurts and its good that way cause it actually HELPs you improve things. so stop being delusional ;)
