Dos emulator on Sailfish
I'm fond of a specialist program from the 1980-ies that I'm currently running under Linux with the help of DOS emulator. Does any of you knowledgeable people think it would be possible to use that emulator under Sailfish?
We have moved to a new Sailfish OS Forum. Please start new discussions there.

Any particular emulator in mind?
tortoisedoc ( 2017-02-14 11:44:45 +0200 )editAnd which device do you want to run it on? x86-based platforms (Jolla Tablet/devices with Intel hardware) might be easier, for ARM you would need CPU emulation.

raketti ( 2017-02-14 11:55:13 +0200 )editI'm right now using DosEmu from the Debian repositories and it has served me excellent for many years. But any emulator that actually would be able to work under Sailfish would be fantastic. Right now I'm using Jolla C and was playing with the idea of having the program on the phone. I have the Jolla tablet so that might be a way to go but not first choice. The program I want to run is not a game and isn't demanding in anyway, except of being a dos-program. Thanks for your interest so far!
