When does the Jolla update the Calender from Google? My Calender entries seem to be outdated and I have no clue on how to make them update.

At least syncing the email does not trigger a Calendar update, does it?

It seems that when I save the settings for the Google account an update occurs: New entries are added to the calender, but deleted entries remain. Is that the current state of the app or is my calendar messed up?

For me at least, when I reset the sync settings in my google account (on jolla), new entries are added and deleted entries are removed. Without actively resetting my sync settings, the calendar seems to update by itself, but after a long period (e.g. day) which I can't be more precise about; I don't know what is triggering this. Google account in SailfishOS release 1.0.2.5 runs the synchronization every 30 minutes or so, and there is no way in the UI to change the schedule. In this release only the downwards sync (from server to phone) works in case of calendar and contacts - changes made on the phone are not copied to the server. Gmail messages can be sent and received.

All Google data (calendar, contacts, emails) can be manually synchronized any time by running Update in Email application (Gmail account).

At least for me the "update from within the email application" does not work...

Will there be "push" functioanlity towards Google's applications? The scheduled syncronization is in my opinion outdated feature.
