I don't think this is a bug. Android just doesn't have write-access to your native phonebook and thats generally a good thing ;)

Android applications cant have access to SailfishOS phonebook, they can't write anything to phonebook. And you can't change this behaviour, and there is no any patch/hack/workaround to achieve that.

May be exist some application for conditional export from andoid phonebook to SailfishOS phonebook? Skype contacts have birthday and phone numbers, be nice have this information in callendar and use in telephone apps.

PS: how do similar thinks andriod app for Vkontakte? I am see in SailfishOS phonebook records from this apps.

I disagree with @ScumCoder. There are lots of ways to protect against abuse and address privacy concerns; "don't implement contact access at all" is a poor man's solution.

@Federico, "ways to protect against abuse and address privacy concerns" are non-existent in Sailfish. Even frigging Android has more or less working access control system, Sailfish has nothing. So in case of Jolla, "a poor man's solution" is a better option than nothing at all.
