Jabber Conversation, battery draining ? [released]

Hi at all! I have issue with battery draining and Data volume consumption at my Jolla C.
It seams to me the reason is the android app conversation. If I stop the android, I have no issues at all. If I start conversation again, the data volume ist at 50 Mb in 2 hours.
Today day my doughter with her Jolla 1 told me the same. Anyone else with the same issue here? Both devices ar at 2.1.0.9 and have the conversation version 1.16.2 from the F-droid store. Is there a possibility to check which app it is, like at a adroid device?

I'm sorry, but I can't say something about that Conversations, because I'm only using the built-in XMPP, which still lacks encryption, audio and video-chat, file-transfes...but we have a useless front-camera :p

Adding to @hoschi's comment, you could go to manage accounts, select account and from three dots enable "server info" which will then show XEPs that Conversations and your server support and combining them with that link you can figure out if Conversations or your XMPP server is guilty.
If you want a server recommendation, I am using Disroot.org on my Jolla and haven't noticed battery draining. It's only missing XEPs blocking command, MAM (privacy, they don't want to store messages) and push (would require registration with Google/Apple and the F-Droid version most likely has that stripped out anyway).

You should definitely check whether your server supports CSI (client state indication), as described in the comment above. With CSI the server doesn't send updates about who is online and the like, if the app is not in foreground. This saves data volume and battery. However, even without CSI the behaviour you described is strange. So maybe there is a bug (probably) with the server. Have you tried a different server, e.g., conversations.im?
Mario ( 2017-03-09 22:16:54 +0300 )editHi, my provider (mailbox.org) supports CSI. I added a screenshot, when i close conversation, all is normal again. 200 kb in 1 minute is too high.
Ok, I tested it with account of my wife (also mailbox.org) and had no issues. I will ask Mailbox.org to reset my xmpp profile.
