So what's the TL;DR with regards to Jolla/Sailfish and Vault 7 revelations What about android apps running on dalvik ?

Well, when someone uses Android, he knows the risk, therefore.... I hope, however, that the Dalvik-"sandbox" prevents some of the potential big damages. However, I would not only be worried about what the CIA can do. There are also others...

Why should Sailfish considered more secure than Android? The only "protection" is the small penetration of SailfishOS compared to Android/iOS/Win.

Would you please use the search of Wikileaks or either open a concrete thread with a direct URL to relevant information. Hey! I heard about a leak! What's about Sailfish?
That stuff is huge, ranging from smilies, to tips about usage of Git and encryption.

With android and iOS it is a matter of trust. Sailfish relies heavily on open sources instead. Not automatically less exploitable flaws but a better chance of patches.

Both the Russian and Chinese consortiums will help to improve security even further.
