The fosussing of the camera ist not working very well, especially in low light.

Suggestion: to push the upper volume rocker to focus on an objeckt (with help of the LED flash) until it´s focussed correctly and then to push the under volume rocker to shoot the picture.

I don't know if you tried this but tapping once outside the shutter button focuses, so you can then snap away without having to wait for focus. Pretty undiscoverable behaviour, and it's annoying that a long-press pops up the shutter button location option, but I like that focusing and snapping are different behaviours. It's almost as good as a two-level hardware shutter button.

I tried it out. I feel a bit uncomfortable with it but it works. I think I like the idea to have a choice in the software settings: 1) to leave it like it is or 2) to take the volume keys as described above

In low light situations I recommend disabling continues auto focus and activate focus on tap. This also prevents the auto focus stepping in even after you manually triggered the focus.

This helps but also doesn't work correctly. I think there might be software bug. Or fully manual focus should be added as option.

This should be fixed/enhanced in 1.0.2.5 release.
