2100 characters limit size for SMS

Hi, I can't send SMS longer than around 2100 characters with my jolla 1. The messages displayed are "Impossible d'envoyer le SMS à ...' and 'Problème d'envoi du message', which means something like 'Imposible to send the SMS to...' and 'Problem sending the message'. Sending larger SMS with the same SIM in my BQ HD5 Ubuntu Edition works fine. My jolla is a little more three years old. I never faced this problem before. I've found a 3504 characters long SMS the jolla managed to send last September. I don't remember which Sailfish OS version it was running at the time.
Strange issue, will try that tomorrow and i let you know :)

juiceme ( 2017-03-20 07:46:05 +0300 )editIndeed, I don't enjoy typing that kind of SMS on the jolla, When I got a laptop on hand, I type the text on it, then send it via email to my jolla, then copy/paste it in a SMS. These SMS are dedicated to a trainee who doesn't check her mailbox frequently...
