No it's not. Actually it is released for early adopters Jolla 1/C and tablet. something about a week later it gets officially released to Jolla 1/C/Tablet and from then on it's up to Intex to approve the update.

I've upgraded to 2.1.0.11 officially The good is that 4G is now working (MTS Russia) The bad is that gaana app reincarneted . Remove using pkcon fails with error (operation will corrupt my system)

i went to finder and searched for gaana, then delete all related files again.

You can access to Yandex Sore, find Gaana and desinstall it

Go to any store and try uninstalling from there. I just did so just to confirm it can be done. Now gonna install again. :(

Its possible ut i would highly advise against it. Haapajoki is the official Aquafish latest release and until that changes it better to run the approved software. You get fewer crashes, fewer bugs, and the OS is actually less of a pain in the ass.

I did update it before, now just leavibg it at Haapajoki until Jolla decides to get around caring for their customers.

Intex has released the update Ijoki for Aqua Fish. It can be installed through Settings/Software Updates.

@ajisht2 as of this moment you are right, 2hrs ago i didnt see the update.

Does still not show up on my Intex Aqua Fish. Do you need a SIM card inserted for this? I was just trying over WLAN, no GSM available.

Venty ( 2017-05-10 12:46:58 +0300 )edit

Not sure. My phone came up with update using Mobile data, Jio 4G. I downloaded the update using WLAN. So the problem couldn't be your WLAN network. However I suggest getting access to Mobile data just to check update.

Received updated for Ijoki .But now issue is Google play service is not getting updated due to which no update can be installed for apps. :-( Not pretty much change from the previous OS version. I would have expected much better but I dont know what Jolla developers is waiting for ?

@ashiagra

The issue is not caused by Iijoki update. Google has kicked out uncertified devices from accessing the Play Store.

Refer https://together.jolla.com/question/159643/cant-download-apps-from-play-store/

Hi I have Intex Aqua fish and after updating to Iijoki i am facing the network issue. The mobile network would just disappear. Reboot fixes this issue temporarily but the network is not persistent at all. I reset my device to mint condition and then again tried to install the update. Problem remains the same. On top of this, now android apps won't run as I am asked to update Google play services. That I cannot do as it's not possible to download anything from New Play Store. I am totally stuck :(.

@mrinmay4

try downgrading the play store and pdate the required apps. there is another thread on the issue. just search..
