The (wired) headset microphone/volume control won't work for phone/voip apps. It works for other apps though, like sound recorder / noise measurer etc. Already tried proposals from this forum pkcon install voicecall-ui-jolla and reboot led to no success. The headset microphone is fully functional elsewhere, and also it used to work with my jolla w/o problems several updates (the current OS: 2.1.0.11) before.

The only headset control button which functions is pause/play.

Any ideas?

Which phone and which connector type has your headset. I have the same issue. Microphone is fully functional on Jolla 1, but on JollaC it does not work. But my issue was already there before 2.1.0.X

I have Jolla 1. It is only not working for the phone app, and some other voip apps (e.g. skype).

With Xperia X the same effect ... Its defintely a software problem...
