old email synchronisation shifted by activesync

Hello,
is that possible by activesync that there is a small issue for the option to synchronize the old emails?
we can choose by "synchronize old email since" between 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month.
I have on my account a mail received on the 7th april. It would normally be synchronized with the option 1 week or 2 weeks.
But it was just possible with the option of 1 month...
I have a jp1 with sfos 2.1.0.11.
Could someone check this please?
