I need to do a factory reset, to see if that kicks the gps into life (suggestion from Jolla support)

Is there an easy way to back up contacts?

Or am I going to have to copy all the info over from the sim again, and then add in stuff like addresses, birthdays again?

I have looked through the file browser to see if I can find the People app info, but no joy

thanks for that - I don't think I'm technical enough to attempt it

Shame the copying .vault isn't a viable option

Hopefully a simpler solution will be offered as part of a future software update

If the factory-reset ckeared everything but the .vault directory we'd have a perfect backup-restore solution. Ofc being able to select the media where to backup would be another.
