Hi guys,

Normally, I can find most of the questions I have here or on google, but this one... i can't.

I use Bubbleupnp on my Jolla phone and Nexus 7 with a bubbleupnp server on my NAS. Well, everything works on my Nexus, because I bought the Bubbleupnp license in the Google Play store a while ago.

But I don't have google play on my Jolla (like to keep it that way), so the bubbleupnp app on my Jolla (aptoide store) is limited in use... There is a license on the Aptiode store, but it doesn't work. In the app itself there's a link to 'buy a license', which directs you to the Amazon store.. But in the comment I read a lot of the same problems I described earlier.

Is there an other way to do this? Can i some how get the license from my Nexus to my Jolla or do I have to install google play to get this working? Hope you guys can help.

Thanks!

This is just a guess and might not even remotely work (have not tried it, even though I've bought bubble upnp at some point in the past) – but if you have that bubble upnp "licence app" on your android device, you may be able to copy the apk off of it. Since you most likely have the play store on your nexus, there are apps that do this kind of stuff, like es file explorer. It may be dependent on google play, but trying it won't hurt.

edit: I've removed the how-to tag from your question, since it's for posts explaining how to do a thing, not for questions beginning with "how to" :)

I'd guess you are better off asking someone from bubbleupnp instead of your phoneOS manufacturer. Especially with lots of people having the same issue it is phone independent but depending on google accounts and services.
