When I click on a place in the map, I am shown somewhere else. When opening the app and the map, the same place appears every time. Deleting the app and reinstalling did not help. It seems as if the app has stored a fixed location and does not allow any more. From the Spritradar app, I also always see this wrong place in the Maps app. Property also with intensive search here nothing found. The problem was already described in the Jolla Store, but so far no solution was offered. Has anyone here the same problem. Is there a known solution to the problem?

Yeah everybody has the issue since Jolla is nuking top apps one by one :/. It has been reported 3 months ago in the Store by 7heo but I guess Jolla isn't notified about new comments :P

If the issue impact all maps based apps, it's a good idea to report it here.

Yes same problem, but no solution. The only thing I understood is that it looks like the app replaces the coordinates of the point I'm clicking on with those of the closest village/city-district. I also have another problem with opening location links from other apps that open a random coordinate which has nothing to do with the original one and it's always different. Maybe they're correlated, but i actually don't believe it so. I've got a jolla1 and i have the problem since 2.1 (not sure if the second one even before 2.1)

Thanks for the reply rikujolla, But I believe that does not solve the problem. As far as I understand the problem you mentioned, it is about the current location. My current location is almost always displayed correctly. I am about to choose a new place to let me navigate there for example. And this place I can not select on the map. Whenever I click on a new place on the map, the old place will automatically appear again.

You don't have mozilla on the J1 AFAIK. (by default at least)

@ApB, you are right. Mozilla is in use on Jolla C, not on the J1.
