[Feature Request] Developer option to disable audio level warning [duplicate]
Using high impedance headphones means I've got to drive the volume higher, and I just keep hitting the audio level warning time, after time. It is driving me mad.
I believe two things need to happen...
1) We need a developer option to turn it off.
2) Jolla needs to examine going to the EU Commission responsible for this rule and tell them that arbitrary limits are useless if the impedance of headphones is not known by the device, and that headphone output is used to drive devices other than headphones. It is a nonsense legislation that doesn't even apply to professional equipment like hi-fi amplifiers or any other amplifier with an analogue dial. Why should mobile phones suffer this restriction?
there's a patch available on openrepos.

msknight ( 2017-05-08 08:45:08 +0200 )editthanks for making all the feature requests , guys at jolla are lazy i think , you have to enable developer mode and install patches but patches are not the answer for everything.
hardy_magnus ( 2017-05-08 10:56:25 +0200 )editOption 1.) is a good idea, option 2.) would be a hopeless quest... :)
juiceme ( 2017-05-08 10:58:27 +0200 )editI am for just showing the warning once and you need to see it once. But once you read and accepted it going higher it should not nag anymore.
