Hello everybody,

i would be interested on a quick-search for application.
Sometimes for having access quickly on an app that is deep in a directory, or i don't really remember correctly its name.
Ideally the field could be on the top of the application launcher.
This field could retrieve the old entries too, for having an even more quick experience on searching...

I'm not talking about a quick-launch function, like the app quickbar do.
That's really a search solution integrated in the sfos gui (in my case in the launcher).
I've no problem that is inspire some devs for third part solutions.

Functions would be similar as the native app "quick launcher" but tighter integrated in sfos.
Especially in app-launcher above, (or somewhere else if someone find a better place).

Here some pics to represent the concept :

(please don't care of the design, that's just a concept representation... sorry for having picked to ios items)

A try with sfos design (approximative):

Have a nice sail :-)

Did you try quickbar? Otherwise, IIRC there is a searching app (but I do not recall the name yet).

EDIT : quicklaunch?

EDIT#2 : or perhaps you are referring to a tighter integration? :)

@tortoisedoc yes i thought as tighter integration.
i know quickbar, i know it for a further links on the desktop, not for searching every kind of app.
what do you mean with quicklaunch? is an app-name, or the name of specific function ? (here i'm not talking about a quick-launch app like quickbar)
What does IIRC means?

search for quicklauncher in harbour.

IIRC = If I Recall Correctly

thanks.
Yes like quick launcher from artem, but tighter integrated on the sfos gui (as i told in launcher). Many thanks for having pointed on this.

@coderus not bad! i didn't find it ... i don't vote on it and/or mark it as correct. because one of them was closed with a satisfied proposal with a 3th part tool. and the other one has it solution on the bottom of the screen (yes i know i'm a nitpicker).
and said, I won't be agree to get my proposal as duplicate with the same reason too. ;-)
Thx for having pointed on these, i didn't saw them, they are interesting.

@coderus as i could see you seems to be quite an expert by making some integrated function on the system.
Maybe it could be for you a kind of inspiration for a further integrated solution... naturally if you are interested on it. I think it would be really appreciated.

True, but no free time anymore. Can only consult some developer :)

;-) understand, that's a little bit sad that you don't have time anymore... you're busy in your new work-life. i enjoy for you, that's great. :-)
just for curiosity do you work on project related to sfos? (no need to have details)
