I clicked on some link to a .pdf, which caused the browser to start downloading it. So far so good. But now this link is somewhere stuck in the system and every time I run the browser the remorse timer shows up, telling me he wants to download this file. Whether I cancel this or not does not seem to matter, the file is not being downloaded, but I get a new entry in the list of downloads, marked as stopped. So over time this will trash the download list.

How can I remove this link? Closing all browser tabs and restarting the device do not work.

edit: On Jolla C with SFOS 2.0.11

Yes, I had this on J-C 2.1.0.11. It stopped - don't know why.

Just for a quick reference: Deleting the file ~/mozembed/downloads.json will do the job
