Hi,

I noticed that with some contacts, the sms order of messages sent/received are displayed in bad order. For instance, original message: "I have this kind of problem"

will be received "oblem I have this kind of pr".

It is happening for sent and received message (e.g the receiver also receive in misorder). It seems to be more frequent on long sms. Does anyone encountered this issue?

Sometimes its happening to me. Its putting first word of log sms to the end of message. I thought its a problem with my friend phone because its happening only with messages from one friend and not always. I use Jolla 1 with the newest OS.

Is the problem word at the multipart-sms boundary (160? characters)? Maybe multipart sms sequence numbers are not handled correctly? Part with sequence number 2 is shown before 1, because ot is received before 1.

It's happening when it's more then 160 characters. But not always.This is example from my conversation.

I received sms like this

rzeczy :)No właśnie tak mi mówił Sławek a mi się wierzyć nie chciało! Dziwne

but my friend wrote

Dziwne rzeczy :)No właśnie tak mi mówił Sławek a mi się wierzyć nie chciało!

@fmotl done @alloj it's doing the same thing on short SMS sometimes (less than 160) @atlochowski it seems we have the same bug

I must say that I get a lot of such bugs on other phones, e.g. Xenium. It seems like this is the result of some imperfection of whatever protocol is used to transmit SMS.

I'm happy to see I'm not the only one with this problem! I though it was my carrier but apparently not.

the bug is REALLY annoying, sailfish os team, is it possible to open a ticket for this? It starts to happen every time on certain contacts

I received yesterday months old message instead of the actual new message. It was the end of an old message received months ago. I asked the sender to send the message again and next time it ws received correctly. It might be related to https://together.jolla.com/question/102020/bug-received-sms-mixed-together/

Today two messages were received only after resend on huge conversation. I started to have problems yesterday. Iijoki and Jolla 1. Over eight gigs free on phone memory.

SMS start to be much more messed up since few days. Now SMS start to be splitted and reversed in 3-4 parts, making them very hard to understand. Also some of my contacts are not receiving my grouped messages. I'm starting to being REALLY tired of all the issues I'm encountering with JollaC. I'm a power user and I'm actually considering switching back to Android....
