This is about the Together web page interface.

I propose to set the default of the "minor edit" checkbox in comment interface to enabled.

Rationale: The majority of edits to existing comments are going to be typos and formatting changes, especially as the edit window is only 10 Minutes.

The Problem is, unless the edit is marked as minor, each of the edits will trigger a message to whoever follows the comment or is replied to. At the time of this writing, my message inbox has 12 unread messages, pointing to only three real comments. That is unnecessary.

Yes, very good suggestion. Most of my inbox content multiple 'minor' edits, and I fix my own typos a lot.. so no alerts by default from comment edits.

The "minor edit" checkbox is now checked by default for comments. Sorry it took this long :)

Great! I'll close this issue then.

Please reopen and re-fix.

The problem has reappeared ("minor edit" is not checked per default).
