[Contacts] Can't remove contacts from the favourites list

In the contact application, I cannot remove contacts from the favourite list. If I do it from the favourite list by long-pressing on the contact to delete and selecting "Remove from favourites", nothing happens.
If I go to the contact's page and press on the star, it turns hollow for a second and comes back to being starred.
I am using an up-to-date Jolla C. Any suggestions
