I dropped my Jolla Phone onto a hard floor, glass down. The glass didn't crack from the drop, although the glass already had a small crack near the bottom-left corner. After I picked the phone up, and noticed that the screen had stopped responding to any input. Before dropping the phone, it worked fine.

I can boot up the phone, but I can't unlock it. I can lock and unlock it and change the volume, so the system is not frozen up.

Is there anything else I can try to do than trying to do a factory reset? There is a certain memo I would like to try to recover, and of course I haven't made a back-up of that. It's not a matter of life and death, so if it turns out there is nothing left to do than factory reset, I am willing to try that too.

Probably touchscreen connector got loose. Disassemble your Jolla and check it.

Hello, I have the same problem. Where is the touch screen connector located? I have opened up my Jolla but unfortunately I have no clue, where to search for the connector. The ones on the back side are not loose. Is the touch screen connector located under the first plate with the SIM card and SD card on it? Thank you in advance!

Well, I have disassembled it completely and I think that it should be the connector in the second shell left from the camera, right? It is located under the flat cable coming from the 3.5 mm jack. Am I right?

Well, after playing around on the "open heart", I have come across the connector with a silver style back on the top right corner of the battery, which gives the display signal. Is it the touch signal in one, too? unfortunately pressing it does not change anything.
