Browser does not fill login forms with stored credentials anymore [duplicate]

At some point the browser stopped to fill login forms with stored user or password. I tried a reset of settings to no avail. The browser still asks if the credentials should be stored and I can see entries in login.json file, but autofill is not triggered.

Any idea, how to fix that?

Not really sure, because I have stored passwords from prior 2.1.0 and those are not automatically filled in form either. But it's probably related and almost a duplicate. I'll close it as such.
